A Great Night of Pizza, Trivia and Fun

The Energy Club hosted its second social event last night at the Sandbox in Pacific Beach.  I was a little nervous at first when only five people RSVP’d on Facebook, but there ended up being a great turnout of over 20 grad students from a range of programs, mostly engineering, but we’re working on broadening participation from all departments.

The pizza was delicious, and the trivia was a fun challenge to the 3+ teams we broke into.  My team, Team Fusion, was doing well up until the final question where we wagered it all, and unfortunately got wrong.  If we wagered nothing we would have finished third!

From the looks of it, I think everyone had a great time, connections were made, and we all had our fill of good food.  I’d like to thank everyone for coming out, and I invite you and your friends and colleagues to the next Energy Club event!
